The Influence of Our Viewpoint!

The intangibles of our leadership are the qualities and material from which our future is built and our successes are manifested.

Faith for something is most often influenced by the view from which we have perceived things. While our lives are a composite of our experiences, what we ultimately become is a result of how we view what we've become. the 'how' we are NOW test. In other words, what has happened to us shaped the lens of how we view the results of what we are now.

It has been said, and properly so, that life is summed up with this adage, "Life is 10% of 'what' happens to you, and 90% of 'how' you respond." I have found it to be true that 'how' we respond is most often determined by our view (what we 'believe').

For Abraham, Faith was a catalyst of inspiration, for he was a man looking for an invisible city. For Moses, Faith was a nomadic quest, seeking out and look for an invisible man. For us, Faith is the catalyst of holy desire, for we seek the visible expression(s) of what both Abraham and Moses sought for, a New Jerusalem and the Last Adam.

No wonder Paul would write in his epistle to Timothy, "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory"  I Tim. 3:16. Jesus was the manifestation of what Abraham and Moses sought!

If you want something, you've got to seek it. Get up and "go."  This is one reason why the command "Go ye" is an emphatic imperative of Gospel purpose. To get to the "what" we want, we must first "see" how God has already prepared the thing....and you can't do that without knowledge of the Word. Remember, "Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God."   Could it be that far too many other things are informing our beliefs other than the Word? Friends, if the Word is not the ultimate Source of our faith and strength now, it is unlikely that we see God informing our tomorrows with His perfectly planned destiny!
