In the Book of Nehemiah, we discover that life is a vocation. In fact, the Apostle Paul wrote to the Ephesians, "I beseech you that you would walk worthy of the vocation wherewith you are called" ( Eph. 4:1). Throughout Scripture, we often see that a man's trade is the genesis of his calling, giving his work dignity.
